Reasons For High Flames On Gas Stoves
As a kitchen appliance that we often use daily, we must understand its structural principles and avoid irregular use that may cause unexpected accidents.
1. The gas stove valve body assembly is damaged, causing the flame to be too high. This situation is because a component inside the gas stove that controls the amount of gas entering and exiting through the burner cover fails, called the valve body (valve body, also called assembly switch). If this component fails, the gas outlet will not be controlled, causing excessive gas to spurt out of the burner cap. This will cause the gas stove flame that we see to be too high. At this time, the problem can be solved by directly replacing the failed valve body.
2. High flame in gas stove caused by excessive gas pressure. Because the gas pressure is set before the gas stove is produced, if the gas pressure in your home is strong, the burning flame will naturally be high. This usually occurs when the gas supplier is unstable and the liquefied gas is not pressed according to the standard pressure. It has nothing to do with the quality of the gas stove itself.
3. The gas stove uses the wrong gas source. When purchasing a gas stove, you must distinguish the type of gas used in your home, because the pressures of different gases are different, and the internal valve body assembly of the gas stove is different. If you used natural gas before, if you use the natural gas stove to use liquefied gas with stronger gas pressure, the flames will reach the roof.
4. The pressure control valve used in front of the stove is abnormal. This situation mostly occurs with liquefied gas, because liquefied gas stoves need to be connected to a standard 0.6m³ pressure reducing valve before use. Some uninformed users will use medium-pressure valves, high-pressure valves, etc. This situation can also cause The gas stove flame burns very high.
